I love this bin, it's hygienic as you don't have to touch it to open to put rubbish in, and it's easy to clean.
Previous bin worked 100%. This model opening mechanism works slowly and sometimes not at sll.
Just a waste of time, tears every bag. don't bother.
It arrived with a big dent. The package is in good condition so it was packed damaged.I'm not impressed by buying new things for £45 and they arrive PACKED damaged.I still put the batteries to see if it was working. Very cheap material. Can't last long for the price...
Just to say, I've owned two sensor bins over the last few years (this is the 3rd). They others died because kitchen scraps are moist and corrode the batteries. This bin has the batteries in a holder at the rear and NOTHING that can be corroded on the bottom (such as an on off switch). So, I don't know yet if this bin will last longer but I am optimistic that it will. In any case, it is definitely a better design than ones with the battery compartments on the bottom
